The galerie libertine is a unique place, opened since February 2008. The first gallery dedicated to erotic art.
In this temple dedicated to Venus and Eros, in the heart of the Sablon in Brussels, you will find written works, paintings, drawings, etchings, photographs and erotic objects from the Antiquity to modern day.
This part of culture, often condemned to clandistinity, is finally unveiled.
An invitation to libertinism, enticing to go beyond all prejudices, to discover an unsuspected universe, full of voluptuousness, daring and freedom. A universe, in which artists unfurl a fantasy unbridled by any convention. What a pleasure to discover these beautiful and often humouristic works of art.
The gallery has two levels, the first space is dedicated to the permanent exhibtion, a sort of mini erotic art museum, the second to temporary exhibtion, always on the topic of erotic art where contemporary artists are happy to exhibit there erotic art works.
Some specific events, openings, erotic readings, projection of erotic movies, will animate the gallery . A hymn rejoicing life and love.
