Brussels in Europe

From the 1st of July to the 31st of December, Belgium will be presiding the Council of the European Union, and true to form, Brussels will be rolling out the red carpet for its European visitors.

For the Brussels-Capital Region, the Presidency is a unique opportunity to show what the Region has to offer, to highlight Brussels’ European credentials and to remind the people of Brussels of this function that has made Brussels a world-famous " brand ".

With this objective in mind, the bodies working to promote the image of the Brussels-Capital Region are rolling out activities and information events for the attention of a wide spectrum of audiences.

FRAGMENTED PAST, SHARED FUTURE?
The pioneers of Europe tell about their lives in Brussels. The locals react on the European district of then and now. Come and listen to their exciting stories and share some of your anecdotes on Europe in Brussels through our chat box. The best contributions will be published on our website. There are two parts to this project: a video exhibition at the BIP and an audio walk departing from the old Leopold train station.
