At René Magritte's table

At René Magritte's table
When his friend, the poet Marcel Mariën, used to visit him, Magritte would put on his wife's apron and prepare typically local and very hearty dishes for him. In his paintings, the artist was more experimental, daring to take food out of its normal setting and create surprising poetic effects. For the Brusseliciousyear, a guide has concocted a culinary tour for you, peppered with anecdotes, real and imaginary. Together, we'll dream of one-eyed hams and masked apples, not to mention revealing some cookery secrets to you!

In practice: every weekend, by appointment. (info@magrittemuseum.be/ 0032 2 428 26 26). The tour is included in the admission price.
